Engineering student with a passion for robotics and automation.

I am Santhosh Panneer Selvam, a B.E. Computer Science and Engineering student deeply interested in robotics, automation, and IoT-based hardware projects. I enjoy designing and building smart systems that combine embedded hardware, sensors, and software intelligence.

From automation systems to connected IoT devices, I love working at the hardware level—experimenting, prototyping, and refining real systems. My goal is to develop impactful solutions by merging AI, embedded systems, and automation technologies into practical, deployable projects.

Singapore Armed Forces

Army Medical Services
Corporal First Class Combat Medic

My National Service journey in the Singapore Armed Forces shaped my discipline, teamwork, and ability to perform under pressure. As a Corporal First Class serving as a Combat Medic, I was responsible for providing medical support in the field and ensuring the welfare of my unit.

I was an active participant in the SAF Day Parade (2022, 2023) and received the Star Award from my medical contingent for excellence. Additionally, I served as an ambulance medic during NDP 2022 and 2023.

Selected work in robotics, automation & software

Automated Plant Monitoring System

Built an Arduino-based system that automatically waters plants based on real-time soil moisture levels. Integrated Twilio SMS notifications to inform users of pump status even without internet.

SIM VITAL - CPR Simulation

Developed an educational medical simulator combining embedded sensors and real-time visualization. Enabled trainees to monitor vital signs while performing CPR on a sensor-enabled mannequin.

Step Assist - Smart IoT Crutch

Designed a smart crutch with sensors for fall detection, step counting, and gait analysis. Built a mobile app with real-time data visualization and voice assistance for elderly users.

Todo's Lah - Task Reminder App

Architected and deployed a cross-platform mobile application using Flutter and Dart. Implemented local data persistence, custom notification scheduling, and a dynamic UI/UX supporting system-wide theme modes. Managed the full release lifecycle, including Google Search Console domain verification and secure APK distribution via GitHub Actions..

Road Bot - Ai Powered Autonomous Rover

An autonomous engineering solution designed to detect and repair road damage in real-time. Utilizing YOLOv8 computer vision and Intel RealSense depth sensing, the rover identifies potholes, calculates exact volumetric repair requirements, and deploys a custom screw-conveyor mixing system for precise concrete application.

Smart Toilet Monitoring System

Developed an ESP32-based IoT Smart Toilet System that automates sanitation using PIR and Ultrasonic sensors. Integrated Real-time Humidity Control and Gas Leakage (Smoke) Detection with a Telegram Bot interface for remote monitoring, manual overrides, and an automated user-complaint registration system.
